Brethren & Families Celebrate St. John's Day

Sunday, June 22, 2008

Bro. David Williamson, Grand Chaplain Emeritus of the Grand Lodge of the State of New York and Past Grand Chaplain of the Grand Lodge of Connecticut, spoke about "The Cornerstone of Life" as Masons, their families, and friends gathered to celebrate St. John's Day on Sunday, June 22. The 10 a.m. worship service took place in the air-conditioned sanctuary of St. Paul's United Church of Christ on Todd Avenue in Hermitage. Bro. Ernie Bernice, Worshipful Master of Shenango Valley Lodge No. 810, helped lead the service. The lodge received its original warrant in the same room years ago. The Penn-Ohio Singers, an award-winning men's barbershop group, provided special music. A luncheon followed the hour-long service. St. John's Day will be held next year on Sunday, June 28th.
