On the left is Right Worshipful Grand Master Stephen Garder who visited Hebron Lodge No. 575 as part of the installation of District Deputy Grand Master Gordon E. Hensel, who is on the right. Welcome to the new website of the 53rd Masonic District of the Right Worshipful Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The 53rd Masonic District of Pa is comprised of six Lodges and the School of Masonic Instruction and is located in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The Lodges are, in numerical order, Eureka Lodge No. 290 located in Greenville, Kedron Lodge No. 389 in West Middlesex, Sharpsville Lodge No. 517 in Transfer, Hebron Lodge No. 575 in Mercer, Grove City Lodge No. 603 in Grove City, and Shenango Valley Lodge No. 810 located in Hermitage. The School of Instruction is based at Hebron Lodge, but also travels to the other Lodges within the District.

Brother Gordon E. Hensel was installed as our District Deputy Grand Master on Friday, February 8, 2008. This took place at Brother Hensel's Home Lodge, Hebron Lodge No. 575. The installation was conducted by Right Worshipful Grand Master Stephen Gardner who was accompanied by the Grand Lodge Officers.

8/16/2008 Brother TimTempleton Past District Deputy Grand Master honored for his Service

On Saturday evening, the 26th of April 2008, the 53rd Masonic District honored Brother Tim Templeton and his Lady Mary at the VFW Hall, Hermitage. Brother Tim served the District as DDGM for seven years, retiring in December 2007 when Brother Gordon Hensel replaced him. read more »
