Are there qualification requirements? Yes. Below are
the qualifications per the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.
- Must be a male at least eighteen years of age.
- Must believe in a Supreme Being.
- Must be a voluntary candidate.
- Must not be motivated by personal gain or profit.
- Must have been prompted by a favorabe opinion of Freemasonry.
- Must desire knowledge and be willing to earn it.
- Must never have been turned down for membership before.
- Must be willing to conform to the Ancient Usages and Custome of the Fraternity.
