Kedron Lodge Welcomes Brethern From Toronto
On Friday, June 20, 2008, Brethern from Kedron Lodge No. 389 in West Middlesex, PA and Wexford Lodge No. 683 GRC in Toronto, Ontario met once again for the annual exchange of visits. Kedron Lodge held a special meeting to welcome the Brethern. After the meeting, brethern from both Lodges and their Ladies were treated to a special program by Brother Ross Williams Pipe Major of the Veteran's Memorial Pipe Band (http://www.vetpb.com.) Brother Williams not only played a number of songs he explained some history of the Great Scottish Highland Bagpipes as well as the Smallpipes. Songs played included Donald McLeod, Jimmy Findlater, Dark Island, Skye Boat Song, Scotland the Brave and of course Amazing Grace. He also played a medly on the smallpipes for us. We want to thank Brother Williams for a very enjoyable evening!
